Security

All building entrances are security controlled. A government-issued photo ID will be required by security personnel. Please allot 20-30 minutes to clear security.

Transportation

Public Parking

Portals I (12th Street) - $8/hour, $15/maximum. Directions: Take a right on Maryland Avenue, SW off 12th, SW and an immediate left into alleyway leading to garage.

Department of Education Building, Potomac Center Plaza, 550 12th Street SW, Washington, DC 20202 (12th Street) - $11.00 a day in by 7:30. Directions: Take a left into the parking garage directly across the street from the FCC building.

Metro Stations

Smithsonian Station - Exit from the Blue and Orange Line on Independence Avenue. Proceed south on 12th Street, SW.

L'Enfant Plaza Station - Exit from the Blue, Orange, Yellow and Green Lines on D Street. Proceed West on D Street, SW and then South on 12th Street, SW.
